Abstract

Bookended by an introduction chapter, and this last piece/chapter, this volume has brought together five interrelated papers/chapters that, while originally developed as separate pieces of research and practice reflection, collectively form a sustained argument about the nature and direction of youth sport coaching. Taken together, they point towards a consistent conclusion: that participation, development, and effective practice must remain at the centre of how youth sport is understood, organised, and delivered.
