Abstract
Dance is an artistic expression that has a holistic impact on a person’s mind, body, and soul (Chen, 2017). Aside from the physical effects and interactions dance has with the body, it also has deeper connections to the artistic expression and self expression. Different cultures tend to have different dance forms, especially those cultural dances that are deeply rooted in their identity as a nation. China is a country with a rich historical background and culture, extensively documented by the artists and academics. As one of the long-standing cultures in the world, China has a long standing tradition of arts through visual, literature, and performing arts. This report also includes essay, Instagram documentation of planning process, and booklet of lesson plans of ages 3-6, 7-11, and 12 and up.
