Abstract
Having spent six months testing the demand for the services that 1:1 Performance
Coaching specialises in, it is time to determine a business plan and model to shape the
future of the business. To date the business has proven itself to be a successful startup,
but heading into the second half of its first year of operation, it needs to be looking
forward, to pursue the next stage of the business lifecycle into a successful growth
business.
This project uses primary and secondary research to consider the use of the business
model canvas, previous research into business models and the way in which other
businesses have gone about their business plans. How can 1:1 Performance Coaching
use these ideas to create a business model that suits their style and assists the
business in its pursuit of growth?
The recommendations of this project, used the findings to determine a 12-month plan
that can be implemented, immediately by 1:1 Performance Coaching to benefit
certain areas of the business. The long-term plan, illustrated through the creation of
a business model, draws ideas from the research to create a best suited model to fit
1:1 Performance Coaching, that looks to give the business a greater sense of direction
in which to move forward with.
