Abstract
A short article for the 'Stay in your lane?' issue of WritersMosaic Quarterly. Naomi Foyle reflects on her own writing practice as a science fiction author, poet and editor, concluding that while marginalised communities must lead their own liberation struggles, imaginative writers can learn to respectfully listen and lean in to other people's lives.
