Abstract

This research project aimed to investigate the relationship between homework and social justice issues. The participants of the study were the pupils, parents and other stakeholders of one school. The research found that many parents and pupils had varying attitudes and experiences of the interrelation between homework and social justice. Furthermore, it was evident that different stakeholders had different views. The research concludes by highlighting the importance of teachers considering the social justice implications of setting homework.
