Swann, D. (2017) The Faber Book of Sewage. Southbank Poetry Magazine.
Full text not available from this repository.Abstract
This poem won Second Prize in The South Bank Poetry Competition, London (which attracted 750 entries from around the world), and published in 'South Bank Poetry'. The judge Mimi Khalvati wrote in her report: "The 2nd prizewinner, ‘The Faber Book of Sewage’ is... underground and watery. This is a high risk poem which could have been dubious but in fact turns out to be delicious with its marvellous mish-mash of quotations, its elevated diction for a lowly subject"
