Weightless (2013-2014) celebrates Flexer & Sandiland company’s 20th Anniversary. At the same time it questions the ‘weight’ or significance of its own history, and that of its choreographer. Insisting on the present, moments and memories of past works are subliminally embedded together with disembodied voices and projected after images. An episodic trace of a history, that is partly made up and partly remembered.
