An evening of works that I curated for Bedlam Dance Company's 10th anniversary (2002) encompassing four works: by Watton and Dorfman, and two ('Yes' and 'Slightly Less Flexible') by Flexer. The programme was primarily concerned with questions of performativity, portraiture and identity: the choreographer's role and responsibility in forming and co-constructing performers' identities, the extent to which performers can construct their 'on-stage' identity as collaborators making live work, how identity representation transforms from rehearsal to performance.
