I talked about the importance of piloting the ideas about the research before conducting the main research. I introduced the case I was doing as part of my doctoral research, and I reflected on my research, how I've done it, and what went
well and what went wrong. My research focused on the early years practitioners who were already working, but also who
wanted to study further.
