Abstract

This paper considers the application of three principles of judo to the planning and delivery of the function of International Federation Services Group Leader – Judo, London Olympic and Paralympic Games 2012. Those being; the principle of softness, the principle of maximum efficiency and the principle of mutual benefit. These principles of judo were applied to the management of the event. Example related to management of information, human resources and operations are presented. Reflection on lessons learned are presented.
