This dissertation investigated the ministries of churches to single parents in some selected churches in my region, Dar es Salam. There have been in recent times high numbers of single parents in my region which hitherto was not. The typical African society expects a family to consist of a father, mother and children living together, and not just one parents raising a child or children alone. Single parents often get neglected and marginalized by the society and the church through some of its doctrines and teachings.
The study analysed the causes of single parenthood, which are numerous and examined the notion of inclusivity, which is expected to be driven by the church.
