Abstract

This article is an extension of / addendum to, "The Sistrum – and How to Make One" [FoMRHI Quarterly, no.97 (Oct. 1999), 29-33, Comm.1673], and elaborates upon some further interesting sources, which help to underline the importance of the role of the ancient sistrum - alongside one more modern "Abyssinian" reference.
